NabayozI Sumin Commonly known as Shumiya Marvel Grace of God, born and raised in Kapeeka Kololo, Nakaseke District, in a Muslim family. However, by God’s grace, she gave her life to Christ in 2018 at the House of Prayer Ministries International under Pastor Aloysius Bugingo’s guidance. Since then, she have walked with the Lord, and it’s only by His grace that she has continued on this path.
Her Journey
As a businesswoman with various enterprises and partnerships, she felt a calling from God to establish Shumiya Marvel Grace of God Ministry in 2021. Inspired by Isaiah 42:1, our ministry focuses on sharing the Word of God, saving lives, and serving Him. Over time, our vision has expanded to include initiatives like Shumiya Marvel Foundation and Shumiya Marvel Promotions.
Spreading the Gospel
As Shumiya Marvel Foundation and Shumiya Marvel Promotions We use multiple approaches to spread the gospel, including music, to reach more people, especially youth. This has enabled us to collaborate with musicians, promoters, and ministers to advance the Kingdom. Despite challenges like limited funding and building trust with online partners, God has remained faithful, connecting us with supportive people who love His work.
Sharing the Love of Christ
“We talk about Christ because He’s the author of everything,” says King Victor Williams, a representative of Shumiya Marvel Foundation. “When He saved us, He also called us to serve. That’s why our motto is ‘Saved to Serve’.”
During a visit to Gospel Arise in Slam Foundation, Shumiya Marvel Foundation distributed essential items like clothes, food, and scholastic materials. Lyrical Michael, a gospel musician, expressed his gratitude, saying, “I believe I was blessed by God through people. I was once helped, so I joined Shumiya Marvel Foundation. When we reach out to the needy, we’re borrowing from God. And I believe when you borrow from God, He doesn’t just repay you – He multiplies.”
Apostle Richie Zion, founder of Gospel Arise in Slam, thanked Shumiya Marvels Foundation for their kindness, saying, “Thank you for accepting what might seem small to you but means a lot to us. May God bless you abundantly. We’ll continue praying for you to reach more people.
Gratitude and Partnership
We’re grateful to those who’ve stood with us and pray that God blesses them abundantly. We welcome all whom God has called to partner with us in serving Him and spreading His Word to the nations.
Interestingly, the name “Sumin” is also associated with creative works, such as the character design for “Asriel Dreemingly Dreemur” in a gaming community
