Gospel Music in Uganda has a new praise sound to lift on, and it is coming straight from the heart.
Veteran worship leader Titus Kuteesa has teamed up with dynamic minister Segmento Omusomi for their brand new single “Rehang Asiimwe”- meaning “God be praised”
Produced by hitmaker Zii on Da Beat and with visuals directed by Patrick Miles, the song is already stirring hearts as a bold declaration of thanksgiving in Runyankore and Luganda

The Message Behind “Rehang Asiimwe”
“Rehang Asiimwe”, is not just a song. it is a testimony.
Titus Kuteesa, known for his deep worship and scriptural lyrics, says the song was born out of seasons where only God could be credited.
“No matter what we go through, Rehang deserves all the glory”, Titus shares. ” This Song is our way of saying thank you to the one who has kept us, healed us and Lifted us”.

Joining him, Segmento Omusomi Wamatayo brings his signature energy, scripture, and fire. His spoken-word style and preaching flow turn the track into both praise and teaching – reminding listeners that gratitude is an act of faith.
Together, the two artists create a sound that is both intimate and corporate. You can worship alone in your room, or lift it in a church of 5,000 people.

The Sound: Produced by Zia on Da Beat
To match the weight of the message, the team brought in Zii on Da Beat for production
Zii blends traditional Ugandan praise drums with modern gospel instrumentation- live guitars, swelling pads, and choir-like harmonies that build into a powerful climax.
The Result? A song that feels both rooted in western Uganda’s worship culture and ready for radio across East Africa . It is praise you can dance to, and worship you can cry to.

The Visuals: Directed by Patrick Miles
The official video, shot and directed by Patrick Miles, brings “Ruhanga Asiimwe” to life.
Expect scenes of community worship, countryside thanksgivings, and moments of surrender. Patrick captures the heart of the song: ordinary people giving an extraordinary God all the praise.
The visuals do not distract from the message. They magnify it . From sunrise prayer on the hills to dancing in the studio, every frame points back to one line: Rehang Asiimwe.

Why This Collaboration Matters
This is more than a feature. It is a union of two different but powerful voice in Ugandan gospel.
Titus Kuteesa brings years of worship leadership, depth, and pastoral heart.
Segmento Omusomi Wamatayo brings youth, boldness, and a preaching anointing that connects with Gen Z and millennials.
Together, they are showing that gospel music can be generational, cultural, and deeply God-centered all at once.
