JOSEPH NGOOMA MAKES HISTORY AS FIRST GOSPEL ARTIST TO FILL LUGOGO CRICKET OVAL TO CAPACITY

The night of 11th July will go down in Uganda’s gospel history books.
Worship leader Pastor Joseph Ngooma has officially broken a record, becoming the first gospel artist to fill Lugogo Cricket Oval to full Capacity.
Thousand packed the venue hours before the event started. By 6PM, gates were closed. More people were still outside singing, praying and worshiping. It was not just a concert. It was a move.

A Night Called “Colourful”
For months, Joseph Ngooma called it “a night that will be colourful”. And colourful it was. From the praise and worship, to the testimonies, to the alters- lugogo was transformed into one big house of prayer.
Choirs, dancers, and ministries from across Kampala and upcountry joined the night. The atmosphere was electric, yet deeply reverent.
This is not my doing“. Ngooma told the crowd with tears, “This is GOD. When He says it’s time, even stadiums become too small”

Breaking Barriers for Gospel Music.
Lugogo Cricket Oval has hosted big names in the ugandan music industry. But never before has a gospel event filled every seat, every standing space, to capacity.
Industry insiders and event organisers say the is a turning point for Uganda’s gospel music scene.
It proves that people are hungry for worship, for the word, and for encounters-not entertainment.
“We have always believed gospel could fill big spaces”, one of the event organisers said. ” Joseph Ngooma just proved it”.

What This Means for Ugandan Gospel
Joseph Ngooma’s record-breaking night a clear message:
1. The church is ready for big worship experiences
2. Gospel music has a place on Uganda’s biggest stages
3. When the massage is real, the people will come
For years, gospel artists have been told ” that size of venue is too big “, on 11h July, Ngooma and his team rewrote that story.

“To God Be All The Glory”.
As the Night closed, Ngooma knelt at the center of the Oval and Prayed for Uganda, for the Church, and for the next generation of worshippers.
“May this just be the beginning”, he said. “If God did it here, He can do it in any city, any Nation. Let us keep lifting His name”.
Fans are calling it “The Lugogo revival”, Videos and Photos from the night are still trending with the hastags Ngoomaliveconcert.
