The family of Kenyan gospel singer Betty Bayo has announced that she will be buried on Thursday, November 20, at Mugumo Estate along Kiambu Road, where she had purchased a parcel of land. A memorial service will be held at Christian Foundation Fellowship (CFF) church along Kiambu Road, where Bayo used to worship

Bayo, known for her hit song “11th Hour”, passed away on November 10 while receiving treatment at Kenyatta National Hospital after battling leukemia. Her body was later moved from the KNH mortuary to the KU morgue along Thika Road.

The gospel singer’s family had appealed for KSh 5 million to give her a befitting send-off, and friends and fans are still fundraising. Bayo is survived by her husband, Tash, and two children, Danny and Sky
